Hidromek New Maestro Series Backhoe Loaders Are More Efficienct, More Profitable And More Durable Than Ever

Construction machine expert Hidromek, driveline expert ZF and engine specialist John Deere have joined their forces together to develop a breakthrough powertrain. In this scope, Hidromek announced the new maestro series backhoe loaders on 21st July 2011 in its Ankar aproduction facilities with ZF. There were sectors respected journals and their representatives from 6 different countries during the press event.

Hidromek Marketing Manager Mr. Levent Karaağaç mentioned the John Deere, ZF and Hidromek cooperation is beyond the buyer-seller relationship. It is a combination of all disciplines such as R&D, development, and introduction of a new series of backhoe loaders with a new powertrain. ZF General Sales Manager Hermann Koch said that Turkey was a reliable country also Hidromek was a reliable brand.

Hidromek Chairman of the Board Mr. Hasan Basri Bozkurt told that they they have decided to develop products to improve their market shares in the markets that they exist as well as entering new marketing and during this process they have chosen a good and reliable manufacturer ZF.

New Powertrain:

The new powertrain consist of turbocharged 4.5 liter John Deere diesel engine which is specifically designed to meet toughest conditions of Hidromek’s customers offering highest power and torque levels with optimized fuel consumption, 5 forward 3 reverse speed autoshift transmission , LSD front axle and rear axle with differential lock which are specially designed for Maestro series with one of the world’s leading power transmission and driveline system manufacturer ZF.

By John Deere engine;

Lower-rated speeds available for reduced noise and improved fuel economy

Operator’s Cab

The Maestro series is a new generation of backhoe , which has been redesigned taking into account the operator's ease of use.

Another innovation inside the operator’s cab is , Dashboard Machine Status Display which is positioned in front of steering wheel includes speedometer, transmission indicator, warning lights, rear outrigger indicator, 4x4 indicator and menu functions such as language selection, operation hours, travel distance, engine rpm, transmission oil temperature, solenoids and sensors self monitoring.



Operator’s cab of the Maestro Series, has its own style. Gives the operator comfort and ease of use of a car with exceptional aesthetics and ergonomics to the next level.

When the operator sits in the seat of the machine, which provides ideal comfort in any conditions of hard work, has a comprehensive and panoramic view of the workspace, thanks to large and convex glass.

The Maestro series offers an ideal driving position as a result of atilt steering wheel, an automatic transmission type, an accelerator pedal ergonomically redesigned brake pedal and double standard, providing a driving safety, reliability and comfort of a car.

With a total of eight work lights, positioned in front and behind the cockpit, which come standard, providing a seamless view during the work at night and in tunnels. The signal lights integrated road, driving safety offer a high level. The cabin as "JUMBO" Series MAESTRO provides technology components such as LCD speedometer, immobilizer, advanced audio radio / CD MP3, a single key, filled with a concept interior panels, ceiling and floor metallic gray and black , along with exceptional design and throttle pedal hammer, among others, giving elegance, functionality and breadth nice.

Besides the convenience, aesthetics and ergonomics, the cabin is built with a highly resistant structure, which exceeds the specifications of overturning and shock ROPS FOPS, placing it in the highest range of safety standards.

The multifunctional single lever (joystick) , situated in a very comfortable place for the operator, allows you to manage all functions of the blade with one hand included services such as: 4 in 1 (clam), leveling and serial translation off one finger of one hand.

The new design of the excavation work position, features new rear window opening system, the control system and setting pen, Backhoe management controls that can be replaced by servo as an option, pedal hammer among others, result in comfort and control of backhoe.

The air conditioning system and cabin ventilation Maestro series has been redesigned to create a comfortable environment for the operator. The air conditioning system that re-circulates the air in the cabin, right next to the distribution and number of counselors, ease of opening rear window and side windows opening adjustable, give the operator an extraordinary comfort.

The cabin as "jumbo" designed for the master series of the operator includes a chest for machines equipped with air conditioning, box becomes chilled to keep refrigerated food and drink during the workday.

In the cab of the Maestro series, there are details and spaces, such as compartments to keep the cabin tidy, washable metal plate on the floor right side, washable ceiling and side pillars, turning the cabin into an ally of the operator to keep it spotless.

The Maestro series, has not been changed the criteria of quality, since it is part of the philosophy of the company.

Metal structure

The Maestro Series have been retained the strengths of the predecessor series, ENERGY, such as: mobile structure for hard work and type I integral chassis, among others.

An important difference with equivalent machines is the design of the metal structure of the master series, calculated for the toughest working conditions and therefore resistant to fatigue and lack of cracks.Thus the user of the machine, it gets long life and high residual value.
